My interest for architecture sparked in middle school, attending Julia Morgan School for Girls introduced me to the world of architecture. On founders day we were taught about Julia Morgan and her major influence on the arts and craft movement. At the time I didn't realize that building design was something I could do later in life. Learning about her during a time where I loved hands-on crafting and assisting my grandpa in building projects solidified the fact I wanted to be an architect later in life. Going on into high school I did what I could to incorporate architecture in my daily school routine. Joining the tech department of my school's theater program was my outlet, assisting in the design and build process. At my current institution you are thrown straight into the architecture realm, helping us thrive.
