I want to work in architecture because I've seen firsthand that it's never a solitary act. Watching my uncle and cousins work through their projects, arguing over ideas, revising each other's instincts, eventually finding a shared vision, showed me that a building is really a record of collaboration. That's what draws me to it. Not the idea of a single landmark that says 'I was here,' but the chance to be part of that same process: taking what starts as separate, competing ideas and turning them into something whole that other people will actually live inside and give a lasting impact in their lives.
