I want to work in architecture because I am interested in how places shape the way people live, feel, move, and connect with one another. The built environment is never only a collection of buildings. It reflects culture, context, history, community, and the decisions we make about who has access to space and opportunity.

My studies at City College of San Francisco, professional experiences, and participation in the AA Visiting School at The Sea Ranch have taught me to observe architecture closely through drawing, walking, photography, research, and attention to moments, weather, landscape, and everyday life. These experiences have encouraged me to see architecture as a relationship between people, place, and time, not simply as an object.

I am especially excited by community-centered design, housing, public space, and interdisciplinary approaches that connect architecture with landscape, urbanism, art, and social impact. My goal is to become a designer who listens carefully, works collaboratively, and creates thoughtful environments that are welcoming, resilient, and responsive to the communities they serve. I want my work to help people feel represented, supported, and connected to the places around them.
