I grew up in Parwanoo, a small town in the Himalayan foothills where the built environment was shaped as much by terrain as by design. That contrast — between what a place is given and what people make of it — is what drew me to architecture.

I studied architecture at MIT-ADT University in Pune, then spent nearly four years at INI Design Studio in Ahmedabad working on large-scale civic projects: a pilgrimage corridor at Ambaji now under construction, a tourism masterplan for the Dharoi Dam, and a riverfront in Karimnagar. Those projects taught me that the most consequential design decisions happen at the scale of the public realm, where a drawing eventually becomes somewhere thousands of people move through every day.

That pulled me toward urban design, and I recently completed a Master of Urban Design at UC Berkeley. What excites me now is applying that civic-scale experience to California — to questions of housing, waterfronts, and how cities absorb growth without losing what makes them legible.

I'm looking to build a practice here around public work: the streets, edges, and shared spaces that shape how a city is actually lived in.
