Before pursuing a career in architecture, I worked at Second Harvest Food Bank, where I discovered that what I truly love to do is to help people. While I could have continued that work, it did not allow me to express myself creatively. I saw that architecture is the avenue through which I can express my creativity and fulfill my goal of helping people. Since almost every architectural project centers on solving a client's problems. Beyond that, architecture offers the opportunity to learn from new perspectives, people, history, and the character of an environment.
