Architecture has always been more than a profession to me, it is a way of thinking about how people experience the world around them. Growing up with a deep appreciation for how space, form, and materiality shape everyday life, I was drawn to architecture as a discipline that sits at the intersection of art, science, and human connection. What excites me most is not just the act of designing buildings, but the responsibility that comes with it, creating environments that serve real communities, solve real problems, and stand the test of time. My academic work at Cal Poly Pomona reinforced this conviction, pushing me to think critically about how design decisions ripple outward into the lives of the people who inhabit them. Whether working on educational institutions, adaptive reuse projects, or civic spaces, I found genuine purpose in designing for others. I want to continue that work in practice, collaborating with experienced professionals, developing my technical craft, and contributing to projects that make a meaningful difference in the built environment. Architecture is not just what I studied; it is how I want to spend my career.
