Why I want to work in architecture

I find architecture to be a meaningful responsibility because it shapes the way people live, gather, heal, learn, and build community. It offers the opportunity to create homes, libraries, civic spaces, hospitals, sacred places, and other environments where people can feel safe, cared for, comfortable, and inspired. I believe that access to healthy, secure, and dignified spaces is an important part of human well-being. Through architecture, I hope to contribute to places that support people as they grow, learn, heal, gather, and move through different stages of life, while making thoughtful choices about resources, sustainability, and the long-term impact of the built environment. For me, working in architecture is a conscious commitment to helping people and communities thrive.
