Ever since I was a young child, I have been itching to get my hands on any crafty project. From painting to paper mache, I unconsciously used art as a form of therapy. An outlet from my anxiety disorder, art became a way for me to feel both in control and at peace. Thankfully, with the help of intriguing design classes in both high school and college, I began to recognize my passion for creatively designing spaces. I can now say I am fully confident in my choice to pursue architecture, where I would be gifted those new projects I was dying for as a child. Being in Delta Gamma Sorority is one way I implement my care for the community, and I aim to
take this trait into my long term career. Not only being able to creatively form a space, utilizing my artistic ability and passion, but also playing a part in forming a sense of community; designing not only houses, but libraries, schools, and places where people can come together in unity. There is something so convivial about knowing I can employ one of my strongest passions to better the world around me. My goal is to utilize my talents of imaginatively envisioning spaces in combination with making them accessible to all and encouraging unity.
