A throughline of my life has been an interest in buildings and cities and how people experience and interact with them, spanning from childhood curiosity to analytic academic study. This has led me to pursue a career in
architecture, in the hope that I can make a positive impact through hard work, curiosity, and collaboration. I’ve taken a strong interest in specific aspects of the field including the design of public and interstitial spaces, sustainable techniques and materials, passive sustainable design strategies, trauma informed design, and the use of analytical tools to inform design decisions. The collaborative, iterative, and problem solving nature of the field of architecture appeals to me, and I know that I can both positively contribute and learn from an engaged and motivated team.
